October 20, according to foreign media reports, on the 6th of this month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on his active social media that their Semi electric truck had started production and would be delivered to PepsiCo on December 1.

In the third-quarter results released on Wednesday local time, Tesla revealed that the Semi electric truck was not produced in a Texas super factory that went into production this year, nor a factory in Fremont, California, but a super factory in Nevada.

Tesla disclosed in the financial report that the electric truck Semi is currently in the early stage of production in the Nevada super factory, which is the first time that the Nevada super factory has appeared in their financial statements as a full-vehicle production plant.

In the second-quarter results released on June 20, the production plant of Tesla Semi was still undecided, and the Nevada super factory did not appear as a full-vehicle factory at the time.

However, Tesla did not disclose the current vehicle capacity of the Nevada super factory like other vehicle factories in the financial report. Among other factories, the Fremont plant currently has an annual production capacity of 650000 vehicles, the Shanghai super factory has more than 750000 vehicles, and the Berlin and Texas super factories have both exceeded 250000 vehicles.

It is worth noting that on Tuesday, local time, it was reported that Tesla Semi electric trucks were made at the Nevada factory. They also mentioned that the production area is now highly confidential and that employees who produce other products in this factory are unable to enter Semi's production area.

Tesla's Nevada super factory, which began construction in June 2014, mainly produces batteries and energy products, and Tesla's battery partner Panasonic has several production lines in the plant.
