Jon Prosser said Apple's iPhone SE 4 will receive a design from the 2018 iPhone XR. This change is also reasonable given that the original design of the iPhone SE is based on the 2013 iPhone 5s, while the iPhone SE 2 iPhone SE 3 design is based on the 2017 iPhone 8.

The latest information extends Jon Prosser's initial statement in August, but he still doesn't know the internals and specifications of the device-although some old hardware may be used to reduce costs. Third-party designer Ian Zelbo has created some renderings that are said to accurately depict the new device.

The iPhone SE 4 was rumored before the launch of the iPhone SE 3 earlier this year. Jon Prosser's latest statement is in line with recent predictions made by display analyst Ross Young, who said the next iPhone SE will have a 6.1in display with bangs "grooves" at the top.
