According to the netizen, he bought two dark purple 256GB versions of the iPhone 14 Pro Max from Apple's Dalian store last week. As a result, the two phones were assembled in different places, namely, China and India.

The photo shows that the outer package of one of the iPhones shows "Assembled in India" (assembled in India), but the box is still marked "made in China".

On the matter, a reporter from Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily asked about Apple's official customer service hotline, and a senior technical adviser to Apple said, "judging from the content of the photo, the iPhone part is made in China and assembled in India."
