CTOnews.com, October 19 (Xinhua)-- after OPPO launched a low-end A17 smartphone for the Indian market, a cheaper A17k model is now available on OPPO India's official website.

The OPPO A17k features a 6.56in 720x1612 resolution 60Hz LCD display, MediaTek Helio G35 chip, 3GB memory, 64GB expandable storage, 3.5mm headphone Jack, and 5000mAh battery. Rear 8 megapixel autofocus camera, front 5 megapixel fixed focus camera.

CTOnews.com learned that the phone uses the fingerprint identification of the power button and has an anti-spatter rating of IPX4. The phone is pre-installed to run the ColorOS 12.1 system based on Android 12. The colors are gold or navy blue. Compared with the OPPO A17, the A17k has less memory, lower pixels on the rear main camera and no depth sensor. Color choices are also different, but apart from that, the specifications of the two are the same.

The OPPO A17k costs 10499 Indian rupees, which is cheaper than the OPPO A17 and will soon be available in the OPPO India online store.
