CTOnews.com, October 19 (Xinhua)-- Douyin and its overseas version of TikTok topped the global mobile app (non-game) download list in September 2022 with more than 62 million downloads, an increase of 4.7 percent over September 2021, Sensor Tower reported today.

Among them, Douyin accounted for 10.6% of the downloads and 7.4% of the Indonesian market downloads. It should be noted that downloads only count App Store and Google Play, excluding third-party Android markets in China and other regions.

In addition, Facebook ranked second with nearly 5700 downloads, up 14.6 per cent from September last year. India is the market with the largest number of downloads, accounting for 28.2%, followed by Indonesia with 6.7%.

CTOnews.com learned that the other three apps in the top five were Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
