CTOnews.com October 18, Samsung Electronics announced today that its latest LPDDR5X DRAM has passed the verification at the fastest speed in the 8.5Gbps industry. The Ruilong 7000 mobile processor, which AMD will release on CES next year, is expected to be the first to use this memory, further enhancing the performance of RDNA3 kernel display.

CTOnews.com reported that as early as April this year, AMD and Samsung held a webinar to discuss the new DDR5 and LPDDR5X memory, which mentioned LPDDR5X-8500 memory.

The current AMD Ruilong 6000 mobile processor supports LPDDR5-6400 memory, and it is expected that LPDDR5X-8500 high-frequency memory will significantly improve kernel performance.

AMD's CES 2023 speech has been scheduled, AMD CEO Su Zifeng will deliver a live keynote speech on January 4, 2023 local time, and the Ruilong 7000 mobile processor is expected to be released at that time.
