CTOnews.com October 18, AITO Automotive officially announced that from the end of August to the beginning of October this year, AITO M7 participated in the electric vehicle charging compatibility (five-star) certification program. After a series of professional and rigorous testing challenges, the M7 was awarded the five-star certificate of charging compatibility of electric vehicles issued by the testing and certification "national team"-Kerry certification.

This is also the second five-star evaluation of the AITO brand after the AITO M5 EV won the industry's first five-star certification for charging compatibility of electric vehicles.

According to reports, in the laboratory, engineers carried out a simulation test on the interface M7. The test items are specific to whether the space design of M7 socket is reasonable; in the time sequence test of two kinds of charging connection control, whether the voltage value, PWM signal and vehicle charging state of each detection point are abnormal; whether the voltage is too high or too low, whether it can be stably charged and so on. In the process of testing, engineers set parameters and leave a large margin on the basis of the national standard to ensure that the interface M7 has a larger working range and stronger compatibility. The test shows that M7 is stable and excellent in the tests of connection compatibility, communication compatibility, power grid fluctuation compatibility, electronic lock compatibility and so on.

Out of the laboratory, the charging compatibility of the M7 has also been more fully confirmed. In the normal operation of the charging station, the vehicle pile compatibility test of the interface M7 is carried out, including DC charging equipment and AC charging equipment, respectively testing charging connector coupling, precharge state identification, SOC status identification, communication protocol data consistency and so on.

CTOnews.com learned that the test shows that the M7 is well compatible with more than 30 mainstream brand charging piles on the market, ensuring the convenience of consumers, and is compatible with more than 97% of the charging piles on the market. As a result, it has been awarded a five-star certificate of charging compatibility issued by Kerry.
