CTOnews.com, October 18 (Xinhua)-- LG has released a new 32-inch 4K smart display that supports Apple's AirPlay 2 wireless screen, 65W USB-C connection, and ThinQ Home for controlling smart home accessories.

The 4K 60Hz display is equipped with webOS, and the software is also pre-installed on LG smart TVs. It can run a variety of streaming applications such as Netflix and Hulu, as well as smart home dashboards for controlling connected smart accessories.

The monitor also supports AirPlay 2, an updated version of Apple's network protocol for transmitting audio or video over the network from an Apple device to another device. Specifically, AirPlay 2 allows people to stream audio to multiple devices at a time.

Users can use AirPlay 2 to mirror the iPhone or Mac monitor with the LG smart monitor, stream video from compatible applications, and transmit audio to the monitor's two 5W stereo speakers.

CTOnews.com learned that the display uses the Ergo bracket, an ergonomic bracket from LG, which can be positioned to the desired height, angle and distance for a comfortable viewing experience.

It can protrude and retract from zero to 180 mm, or just over 7 inches, rotate a total of about 280 degrees, and rotate 90 degrees to a horizontal or vertical position. The tilt range is about 25 degrees, and the height of the display can be adjusted from zero to 130 mm.

LG includes one USB-C 65W port, two HDMI ports, three USB-A ports, and one Ethernet port.

The LG smart display model 32SQ780S sells for $499.99 (about 3595 yuan).
