CTOnews.com, Oct. 18, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a new article on Instagram that WhatsApp is "more private and secure" than Apple's iMessage platform.

Zuckerberg said that because WhatsApp has end-to-end encryption, information can be set to disappear after a set time, and can be used on multiple platforms, so it is much better for privacy-conscious users.

"WhatsApp is much more private and secure than iMessage, and its end-to-end encryption can be used on iPhone and Android, including group chatting. With WhatsApp, you can also set all new chat records to disappear at the click of a button. Last year, we also introduced an end-to-end encrypted backup feature that iMessage does not have."

The competition between Apple and Meta has been going on for some time, and the conflict between the two tech giants has been growing recently.
