With the introduction of the iPhone 14 Pro, the rear camera is getting bigger, and the incompatibility problem is even more obvious for users with MagSafe Duo chargers.

Some users complain that the iPhone 14 Pro is not perfectly compatible with Apple's MagSafe Duo charger. The Pro camera module is significantly larger this year, causing the device not to be fully aligned with the magnetic charger, even without a protective housing.

Although the iPhone 14 Pro can still be recharged with MagSafe Duo, the device cannot be placed flat on the charger and some of it will be lifted slightly.

However, the problem does not affect iPhone 14 Pro Max users, although the phone also has a larger camera module, but the device is longer than the regular Pro model.

CTOnews.com learned that the MagSafe Duo charger, launched by Apple in 2020, makes it easy to charge compatible iPhone, Apple Watch, wireless charging boxes for AirPods and other Qi-certified devices. But Apple has never released a new version of the charger since. It is worth noting that the MagSafe Duo charger can only use the fast charging function when using the Apple Watch magnetic quick charger to the USB-C cable with Apple Watch Series 7.

In 2021, a revised version of the MagSafe charger has been submitted to FCC, but has not yet been released. Apple said on its website that despite matching problems, the MagSafe Duo is compatible with every model of the iPhone 14 series. The price of the accessory is US $129 (Bank of China 1049 yuan).
