CTOnews.com October 18, Bloomberg Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to announce the 2022 new iPad Pro with M2 chip on Tuesday (Oct. 18, US time). Gurman also pointed out that most of the 2021 iPad Pro models have been sold out at many Apple Store retail stores in the United States and are out of stock.

By looking at Apple's US website, the delivery of most iPad Pro models has also been delayed by one to two weeks. Some specific configurations have pushed the delivery date to November. This heralds the upcoming release of a new generation of iPad Pro.

Mark Gurman recently said that Apple iPadOS 16.1 (which will be the first version of iPadOS 16) will be available to the public this week, October 24. Apple is reportedly preparing for the official release of the new iPad and then releasing software updates to all iPad users.

CTOnews.com learned that it was revealed that the new 2022 iPad Pro will continue to use 11-inch and 12.9-inch screens and upgrade to M2 chip, which is about 20% faster than M1. Other major hardware changes will be small and there will be no major design changes.
