CTOnews.com, October 17 (Xinhua)-- BYD unveiled three electric models at the Paris Motor Show today with Tang, Han and Yuan PLUS (the local model is called BYD ATTO 3).

BYD's global strategic partner Shell participated in the press conference, and the two sides jointly announced that they would provide BYD European car owners with a better charging experience, including opening up the use of about 300000 Shell charging piles in Europe to car owners.

BYD said that as the first Fortune 500 car company in the world to officially stop production of fuel vehicles and focus on new energy vehicles, BYD adheres to the concept of win-win cooperation and reached strategic cooperation with a number of high-quality dealers in Europe to provide local consumers with one-stop services such as sales and after-sale of new energy vehicles favored by the market.

At present, BYD New Energy vehicles have a footprint in more than 70 countries and regions and more than 400 cities around the world, serving more than 2.6 million car owners, and has been the top seller of new energy passenger vehicles in China for nine consecutive years.

CTOnews.com learned that in March this year, BYD signed a global strategic cooperation agreement with Shell to jointly promote energy transformation and work together to enhance the charging experience for BYD users of pure electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV). BYD said the two sides would first start cooperation in China and Europe, and planned to expand the partnership to the world.
