CTOnews.com, Oct. 17, according to Android whistleblower Mishaal Rahman, Google will support Cast devices for audio switches in Android 13.

At present, the audio output switching of Android systems supports Bluetooth headsets or speakers, while the update of Google Cast SDK shows that Android 13 extends the audio output switching function to Cast devices to support audio output to more wireless devices.

As can be seen from the screenshot of the demo, including TV, Chromecast, speakers and other equipment can be selected.

CTOnews.com learned that Google announced that it would add support for Cast devices to the output switch as early as 2020, but for some reason it has not been online for two years. However, Google has outlined this feature in the developer documentation, and it looks like we can finally experience it in future updates.
