CTOnews.com, October 17 (Xinhua)-- at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, Jeep officially unveiled its new pure electric mini SUV--Avenger (Avenger Chinese literal translation for Avengers), which is also Jeep's first pure electric car. Pre-order is now under way and delivery is scheduled to begin in Europe in the first quarter of 2023.

Avenger retains the key design features of the Jeep model and is positioned as a small SUV. The Avenger has a closed 7-hole front grille, a large bumper, trapezoidal wheel arch and X-shaped rear lights, all of which are the characteristics of the Jeep.

In terms of interior decoration, the Avenger center console adopts a horizontal penetrating design style, with an integrated air conditioning outlet and an open storage slot, the full LCD dashboard is available at 7 inches and 10.25 inches, and the size of the suspended multimedia display screen is 10.25 inches.

CTOnews.com learned that in terms of power, the Jeep Avenger single motor version has a maximum power of 115kW and a peak torque of 260Nm, and a dual-motor all-wheel drive version is available. At the same time, the car has a matching capacity of 54 kWh battery pack and a mileage of 400km under WLTP conditions. In terms of charging, the car can replenish 20% of its electricity by 80% in 24 minutes in fast charging mode. In addition, Avenger provides a terrain selection system with six driving modes (normal, economic, sports, snow, mud and sand). The Selec-Terrain system is adopted and the slope control function is provided.

Jeep revealed that the Avenger ground clearance is 200mm, the approach angle is 20 degrees, the departure angle is 32 degrees, and the longitudinal passing angle is 20 degrees.
