Recently, Analysys released a report on the market share of Q3 domestic consumer-grade AR glasses in 2022, which said that the overall sales of Q3 consumer-grade AR glasses this year have maintained rapid growth, and the domestic sales of consumer-grade AR glasses have reached tens of thousands.
In terms of sales market share of specific brands, Nreal ranks first with 34.5% market share, Thunderbird Innovation ranks second with 28.6% market share, and the third to fifth brands are Rokid, Mijia and INMO.

It is worth mentioning that according to the previous data report released by Strategy Analytics, the market share of Nreal in the global consumer AR glasses industry reached 75% in 2021 and rose to 81% in the first half of 2022.
Thunderbird Innovation, which ranks second in the market share of Q3 domestic consumer-grade AR glasses, is also a fast-growing type. They have been established for only one year and are one of the fastest growing consumer-grade AR glasses brands.
In addition, Xiaomi Home and INMO (Movie) ranked fourth and fifth respectively, while domestic consumer-grade AR glasses products sold on a small scale in the same period include OPPO Air Glass, Epson BT-40 and so on.
Analysys said that according to the growth of the Q3 domestic consumer AR market this year, the consumer AR market is setting sail in an all-round way, showing characteristics such as diversification, access to the car network scene and network biochemistry. In addition, according to the latest research report released by Strategy Analytics, it is predicted that the market stock of VR / AR hardware equipment will double from the current 50 million to 100 million units by 2024. With the introduction of more consumer-grade AR devices, the share of AR devices will grow significantly, and its market share is expected to grow to 64 per cent by 2027. And, as brands continue to enrich the content and application ecology, as well as product iterations, AR glasses are expected to become the next generation of consumer smart platform and become the personal "third screen" besides mobile phones and computers.
