According to reports, this test is based on TDD 2.6GHz band and FDD 700MHz band, and the single-user service rate of 5G RedCap has reached the theoretical expectation. On this basis, Ziguang Zhanrui also took the lead in completing the VoNR technology verification under the 5G R17 RedCap network, which is also the first time in China to successfully implement the call service in the RedCap test.

CTOnews.com learned that this test complies with the requirements of China Mobile 5G RedCap Laboratory Test Specification compiled by China Mobile, and uses ZTE 5G NR base station and Ziguang Zhanrui 5G R17 RedCap platform test terminal to complete the technical verification of TDD 2.6GHz and FDD 700MHz bands. It includes 5G RedCap user identification, independent uplink / downlink initial BWP, independent private BWP, 2.6g / 700m different frequency switching, different system interoperation, peak rate, VoNR and so on. The test results are fully in line with the 3GPP standard protocol process and performance expected indicators, which provides a test basis for China Mobile 5G RedCap new technology evaluation and equipment specification.

As a key technology and solution for medium-and high-speed Internet of things and industrial Internet of things scenarios, 5G R17 RedCap can greatly reduce the complexity of radio frequency and baseband, reduce terminal power consumption, and obtain higher battery life.
