Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, Oct. 16, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple plans to release a new macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16 system this week from October 24 to 30.

It is said that the first version of the macOS Ventura has added support for the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, which are expected to be released "in the near future."

According to Gurman, the new MacBook Pro will offer M2 Pro and M2 Max chips to choose from, but there has been little change in other areas.

CTOnews.com has reported that he expects a new iPad Pro with M2 chip to be released "within a few days", but Gurman now says the new MacBook Pro is unlikely to be released with the next iPad Pro.

He believes the new MacBook Pro will be released "in the near future" and points out that Apple usually releases new Mac computers in November, such as the first 16-inch MacBook Pro launched in 2019 and the first three Mac computers with M1 chips launched in 2020.

Gurman reiterated that Apple is developing an upgraded version of Mac mini with M2 chip. CTOnews.com learned that the last time Apple updated the chip for the Mac mini was the M1 platform launched in 2020, which is expected to gradually replace all Intel models.

Apple usually holds high-profile launches when it launches iterative products for iPad and Mac in late autumn, but this year's launch is relatively low-key. Apple will launch the new product directly on its website, rather than having the same big launch event as it did when iPhone 14 was released in September.

I think Apple avoided another event because the nature of this one was quite ordinary. This is a small update of the series of products, which is equivalent to fine-tuning the specifications and continuing to maintain the existing design. Another factor: Apple may be saving marketing energy for next year's Reality Pro debut.

Craig Federighi, Apple's head of software engineering, and Greg Joswiak, the head of marketing, will speak at the Wall Street Journal's WSJ Tech Live event on the evening of October 25, when they are likely to introduce some of the new features of macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16, as well as answer some of the controversy.

For now, Apple iOS 16.1 is likely to be released in conjunction with iPadOS 16.1 and macOS Ventura, which will bring many new features to iPhone, including real-time activities in third-party apps.
