CTOnews.com Take-Two, parent company of RStar, Zynga and 2K, will close Playdots Studios, which developed the popular casual puzzle elimination game Two Dots Between Two, and 65 employees will lose their jobs after the studio closes, Bloomberg reported.

Take-Two confirmed that mobile games such as Two Dots will be maintained by another Zynga studio and that the game will not be discontinued. In addition, Playdots employees will have the opportunity to apply for other jobs at Zynga.

CTOnews.com learned that Take-Two acquired Playdots for $192 million in 2020 and specifically mentioned Two Dots in its earnings report for the first quarter of 2022 as "one of the largest contributors to net revenue."

"Two Dots" is an elimination puzzle game, its play is very simple, as long as the finger, the same color ball can be connected to eliminate. However, only horizontal and vertical direction can be connected, not even oblique lines. After the dots are eliminated, the lattice falls as a whole, and new dots are added as it falls.
