CTOnews.com, October 16, according to Fuyang, on October 15, the Funan BYD New Energy Auto parts Industry Park project with an investment of 10 billion yuan officially started construction in Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province.

CTOnews.com learned that BYD Group will build new energy passenger vehicle wiring harness, Seiko center, motor precision injection molding parts, wheel speed line, wheel hub bearings, seat covers and other parts production lines in Funan County.

After the completion of the project, the annual output value is more than 10 billion yuan, more than 20,000 people are employed, and 1 million new energy passenger vehicles can be provided every year. Among them, the first phase of the project will be carried out in October 2022, and it is planned to install the equipment in November, complete the installation and commissioning of the equipment by the end of November, put into trial production, and achieve mass production in December.

According to the data, BYD sold 201259 new energy vehicles in September and 1180054 new energy vehicles from January to September 2022, a cumulative increase of 249.56 percent over the same period last year.
