According to information from the workplace social platform, Zhu is certified as a former Tesla senior technical project manager. It is reported that the case is also the first case of infringement of trade secrets by Shanghai Tesla Company in China.

CTOnews.com learned that this is not the first time Tesla has sued a former employee for suspected of stealing trade secrets. In 2019, Tesla sued Cao so-and-so, a former employee, in the United States for allegedly stealing trade secrets related to Autopilot and said he transferred Autopilot technology to Xiaopeng Automobile, triggering a two-year accusation. In the end, Tesla reached a reconciliation agreement with Cao, ending with Cao apologizing to Tesla. In addition, in May this year, Tesla also filed a lawsuit against Alexander Yatskov, an engineer he hired. Tesla said that Yatskov stole confidential information about the company's supercomputer technology and lied about its work experience and expertise.
