In recent weeks, the Xbox Game Pass of the Surface Duo series has been in a state of ruin, Microsoft no longer provides functional support for the second screen, and even the app itself cannot even start in some cases.

Even if you successfully launch the Xbox cloud game (such as using Xbox Game Pass Beta), you still can't solve the missing dual-screen feature. In addition, you can't use the Xbox remote screen / playback feature on Surface Duo. Now, Microsoft has confirmed that this is a Bug, and they are working very hard to solve this problem.

A Microsoft spokesman said in a statement to Windows Central that the Surface Duo series is expected to solve this problem with OTA updates soon.

"Microsoft has realized that Surface Duo 2 users are experiencing problems using remote playback and the second screen experience of Xbox cloud games. The team is investigating the problem and is working to provide a solution in the coming days."

CTOnews.com learned that Surface Duo 2 was released in September last year and has two 5.8inch AMOLED displays, each with a resolution of 1344 x 1892, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and protected by gorilla glass Victus. There are hinges between the two displays, which are about 8.3 inches in size when turned on.

The machine is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, equipped with 8GB LPDDR5 memory and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage.
