CTOnews.com, October 15, according to the official of the State Power Investment Corporation, on October 12, the first digital RMB charging station in Beijing, developed and built by SPIC (Beijing) Comprehensive Energy Company, which belongs to the State Power Investment Beijing Company, was put into production in the design town of Beijing City Sub-Center.

▲ map from the State Power Investment, according to the following introduction, this project is SPIC (Beijing) Comprehensive Energy Co., Ltd. relying on the Beijing City Sub-Center to design a pilot digital RMB in a small town, together with the Bank of China, China Unicom, Delayor, and Tong Development Group, to realize the innovation of payment mode, the integration of digital RMB and Internet of things charging piles, and promote the landing of a new scene of digital RMB application.

CTOnews.com learned that five digital RMB charging piles have been completed and put into production in the first phase of the project to provide intelligent charging services for users in the design town park of the deputy center. This is also the first digital RMB charging station in Beijing and the state.

Data show that the national investment in scientific and technological innovation has been increasing in recent years, with R & D expenses of 4.29 billion yuan, 6.8 billion yuan and 8.67 billion yuan respectively in the past three years, with an average annual growth rate of 37.5%.
