Volkswagen pure electric vehicle deliveries accounted for 6% of total deliveries in the first three quarters of this year, compared with 4.2% in the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that in terms of regional market sales, the Chinese market remained the main driver, with pure electric delivery rising 139.3% to 112700 vehicles in the first three quarters compared with the same period last year; in addition, the European market had 211900 pure electric vehicles in the first nine months. In addition, the US market delivered a total of 29000 electric vehicles this year.

In terms of brand performance, Volkswagen brand pure electric delivery in the first three quarters was 207200, accounting for 57% of the group's total delivery; Audi's global delivery of pure electric vehicles in the first nine months was 77000, accounting for 21% of the group's total delivery. In addition, Skoda and Seattle CUPRA delivered 36900 and 17600 pure electric vehicles worldwide in the first three quarters, respectively, while Porsche delivered 25100 pure electric vehicles in the first three quarters.

In terms of specific models, Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 are the most popular, with cumulative global sales of more than 122000 vehicles; ID.3 cumulative sales of more than 45000 vehicles; Audi e-tron cumulative sales of 36000 vehicles, Q4 r-tron sales of 29000 vehicles; and Porsche taycan cumulative sales of 25000 vehicles.
