CTOnews.com learned that Apple iOS 16 has introduced a series of new features for iMessage apps, including the ability to edit or delete recently sent messages, mark conversations as unread, and collaborate invitations and event updates. Apple iOS 16 also introduced SharePlay (simulcast sharing) into iMessage, allowing multiple users to enjoy synchronized content during chat, such as movies or songs with shared playback controls.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has previously said that Apple's MR will focus on games, media consumption and communication. He believes that memos and sharing games may be at the core of the experience.

In addition, Apple's devices are expected to be able to scan the wearer's iris so that they can quickly log in to their accounts simply by wearing the device on their head, according to two people involved in the development of Apple's head display.

Guo Mingyi, an analyst at Tianfeng International, has previously said that Apple's MR headset will be equipped with an eye tracking system, and the device's eye tracking system can support iris recognition. He believes that if the Apple headset can achieve iris recognition, it is expected to lead to a new Apple Pay payment method.
