01 with the help of gradient mirror, in order to solve this problem, image manufacturers have produced a special medium gray gradient mirror (GND). The light transmittance of one side of the lens is low, which can reduce the amount of light input.

Gradient mirrors are round and square. When you take a picture, add a gradient mirror in front of the lens to solve the problem of high light ratio immediately. If you shoot sunrise and sunset, the sky is very bright. The black part of the gradient mirror can be placed on top to reduce the amount of light coming into the sky, but the ground will not be affected.

Features: simple and convenient, one-time film, suitable for most scenes.

The principle of 02 shaking black card is similar to that of gradient mirror. Shake a black card in front of the camera, do not enter the light when the black card blocks the lens, move away and continue to enter the light, reducing the incoming light by reducing the incoming light time. Because the card is black, the camera will not pick it up.

The advantage of shaking the black card is that you can manually control the amount of light entering through the shaking time. You can also change the shaking position and change the control position.

The disadvantage is that it is a great test of technology, and people who are inexperienced can't shake it well. Shake the black card is only suitable for long-exposure shooting, such as shooting for 10 seconds, I can shake slowly. If the photo is taken in 2000 seconds, I won't have time to shake it.

03HDR / surround exposure these are the internal functions of the camera, HDR is a high dynamic range, surround exposure is the synthesis of multiple photos, their principle is similar.

Turn on this function when taking a picture, although you press the shutter once, but the camera takes several photos and finally combines them into one, and the camera finishes the synthesis work. The effect of HDR depends on the level of the camera. If the effect is not satisfactory, do not use this function. Remember to turn off this function after shooting.

Features: the camera has its own function, the effect is general, it varies from machine to machine.

04 make up light to ensure that the highlight area is exposed normally, at this time the shadow area must be underexposed, and then we use the light to illuminate the shadow area to make up the light.

There are also a variety of ways to replenish the light. in addition to using lights, you can also use reflectors to replenish light. when taking external portraits, you often put a white reflector in front of the person to reflect sunlight to replenish light on the face.

For example, when shooting the starry sky, the ground is often dark. At this time, you can illuminate the ground with a flashlight, and you can also shoot at the new moon and use moonlight to make up the light.

Features: suitable for small scenes, with the help of light equipment.

05 later repair early shooting, take a compromise method, although the highlight is overexposed, but not serious, although the shadow is underexposed, but it is not very serious. Later, by using the image revision software to reduce the highlights and brighten the shadows, you can get the photos with normal exposure.

The closer the original film is to normal exposure, the smaller the adjustment during restoration, the greater the probability of successful restoration and the least loss of image quality, so it is best to take a "compromise" when taking photos to reduce the extent of later restoration.

Now both the computer ps and the mobile phone app have this function. This is also the most basic function in drawing revision. Take photos in RAW format in the early stage, but there is more room for repair in the later stage.

06 exposure synthesis pre-take a number of photos with different brightness, with the help of later tools to piece together a new photo, this is the exposure synthesis. You can use the automatic merge HDR feature in ps, or you can synthesize it manually with your own mask.
