CTOnews.com October 14 news, today, Blue Arrow Aerospace announced that Blue Arrow Aerospace Auxiliary Power system Cloud Magpie (YQ-10) recently completed the first assembly and testing work, after acceptance and delivery of the whole machine hot test.

Unlike the Tianque series liquid oxygen methane engine, it is a squeezed single-component catalytic decomposition liquid rocket engine technical solution, using room temperature spontaneous combustion propellant, with steady-state and pulse working ability.

According to reports, the YQ-10 engine was independently developed by Blue Arrow Aerospace, mainly including 15 kinds of assemblies such as thrust chamber, valve, storage tank, gas cylinder, cable, etc., and developed a variety of ground support equipment, such as electrical performance tester, charging and discharging equipment, and so on.

In addition, Blue Arrow Aerospace pointed out that in order to effectively reduce production costs and simplify production processes, Blue Arrow Aerospace integrates social resources and applies a number of civilian technologies and processes to products. The head of the thrust chamber adopts 3D printing technology scheme, and the structures such as heat insulation frame, capillary and injector are formed at one time, the selection of parameters is more flexible, and the production process is greatly simplified.
