CTOnews.com October 13 news, today DXOMARK released the Google Pixel 7 Pro image test score of 147, ranking first in the DXOMARK global image rankings with Honor Magic4 Zhicheng.

Officials say the phone's video experience is excellent and stable in all aspects, with great improvements over the previous generation of Pixel 6 Pro, especially zooming and video performance due to software optimization.

The biggest highlight of Google's Pixel 7 Pro is portrait shooting. The score of family image, the latest relative and friend of DXOMARK, is slightly better than Apple's iPhone 14 Pro by one point. Strong and realistic skin rendering, good contrast management, combined with the latest AI artificial intelligence technology, enable it to ensure excellent facial exposure and accurate tracking focus even in challenging lighting conditions. The disadvantage is that there is occasional chromatic aberration in indoor video clips; in high-contrast scenes and low-light conditions, videos and photos will have shadow noise.

CTOnews.com learned that the rear main camera of Google Pixel 7 Pro has a 1.31-inch 4800-megapixel sensor with an equivalent focal length of 24mm, an ultra-wide-angle lens of 2.86inch, 1200 megapixels, equivalent to 13.4mm, and a telephoto lens of 1.55inch, 4800 megapixels, equivalent to 116.2mm.

In addition, Google Pixel 7 Pro ranked second in DXOMARK screen rankings with a total score of 146, closely followed by Apple's highest score, Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. In terms of selfies, Google Pixel 7 Pro ranks third in DXOMARK selfie rankings with a total score of 142.

DXOMARK said that in terms of screen, this model has very good brightness and contrast adaptability, provides an excellent HDR10 video experience, and its screen color rendering is very accurate in all usage scenarios, and is particularly readable indoors and in low light. However, when it comes to playing games, Google Pixel 7 Pro is slightly backward in terms of fluency and sometimes stutters compared with its previous pixel 6 series.

In terms of selfies, the highlight of this model's front-facing camera also lies in portraits of different skin colors. Under most conditions, excellent selfie photos and videos can be presented with natural skin color, accurate exposure and wide dynamic range. Its wide depth of field makes it suitable for most selfie scenes, including multi-person selfies. The deficiency lies in the loss of obvious noise and fine details in some low-light situations.
