According to the information found by Reddit user Leopeva64-2, the "Memory Saver" feature of Google Chrome browser will support the separate display of memory saved after each tab is dormant.

As you can see from the figure, after the user clicks the "Memory Saver" icon near the address bar, a pop-up window displays the memory savings of the tab.

When the tab sleeps, Memory Saver frees up 86.9MB memory.

CTOnews.com learned that Google's Chrome Canary version already supports the "Memory Saver" feature, and users can customize the tab whitelist to tell Chrome which sites should not sleep.

Similar features have been launched in Microsoft's Edge browser, and users can find options under Settings > system and performance > optimize performance, or you can set a whitelist of websites.
