CTOnews.com October 13 news, today, TSMC held a law meeting, announced the outlook for the fourth quarter.

TSMC expects revenue of about $19.9 billion (about 142.683 billion yuan) to $20.7 billion (about 148.419 billion yuan) in the fourth quarter of this year, which translates to an average month-on-month increase of 0.4 percent, and gross and net profit margins will remain high compared with the third quarter.

In the third quarter of this year, TSMC had revenues of $20.23 billion (about 145.049 billion yuan), a gross profit margin of 60.4% and a net operating margin of 50.6%, according to the financial report. During the reporting period, TSMC shipments of 5 nm accounted for 28% of total wafer revenue, 26% of total wafer revenue, and 26% of total wafer revenue, and more advanced processes accounted for 54% of total wafer revenue.

CTOnews.com learned that Huang Renzhao, chief financial officer of TSMC, said that in order to cope with the rising cost pressure in 2023, value sales would continue to be promoted and long-term gross margins of more than 53 per cent could still be achieved.
