Wang Tao joined Huawei in 1997 and is currently the managing director of Huawei, chairman of the ICT Infrastructure Business Management Committee and chairman of the Product Investment Review Committee. He joined Huawei in 1997 as Wireless R & D Manager, Vice President of UMTS International Product Marketing, President of Product Marketing in Europe, General Manager of Huawei's Italian & Swiss subsidiary, President of Wireless Network Product Line, President of Network Product Line, President of products and Solutions, President of ICT Strategy and Marketing, etc.

CTOnews.com learned that Huawei is divided into three major BG: operator, terminal and enterprise business, as well as cloud, digital energy, smart car solution BU and other business units.

According to the performance information released by Huawei, in the first half of 2022, operator BG revenue was 142.7 billion yuan, up 4% from the same period last year, accounting for 47.3% of total revenue, while enterprise business revenue was 54.7 billion yuan, up 27.5% from the same period last year.
