CTOnews.com, October 13 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft today launched a new ARM64 version of the Xbox app for Windows, which means the Xbox app will run natively on Surface Pro X and Surface Pro 9 with SQ3, as well as other devices with Arm released last night.

Microsoft announced the new Arm Xbox app in a blog post today. Although the Xbox app will now run smoothly on Windows hardware with Arm processors, there are still not many Windows games natively compiled for Arm.

Fortunately, Microsoft has added Xbox cloud game support to Xbox applications running on Arm devices. This means that players can stream any Xbox Game Pass Ultimate game to an Arm device without worrying about compatibility or performance issues.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft has recently brought Xbox cloud games to more and more devices, including Samsung's 2022 smart TVs and displays. Microsoft also revealed this week that it will introduce it to Meta's Quest VR headset, and recent revelations suggest that Microsoft may also launch a dedicated Xbox cloud game console top box.
