At the 2022 Ignite conference, Microsoft announced a new Microsoft 365 application. This new application will become a new center for accessing Microsoft's services and applications, both for enterprises and for ordinary users like you and me.

The Microsoft 365 application will be launched next month, which will be very similar to existing Office applications. On Windows, the web, and mobile devices, users can use it to open new documents, access shared files and content, or discover new applications and tools in your Microsoft 365 subscription products. In addition, you can also see work suggestions that require attention according to your meetings, tasks, and other documentation activities. Most importantly, you can perform the usual fast operations without having to switch between different Microsoft 365 applications.

Microsoft is also adding new features to the new Microsoft 365 app, which are not available in the Office app, including a new Feed that displays shared files of the people you work with, as well as trends and popular content at work, which will appear in the form of cards. Other new features include a redesigned application module that can be accessed into any Microsoft 365 or third-party application for the first time on mobile. The last function is tagging, which is a new way to organize work.

The renaming involved mainly includes: Office.com website, Office mobile app and Office Hub program for Windows. In the future, Microsoft will gradually introduce new icons, new looks and more features for these applications or websites.
