According to CICT, the international standard is led by the China Institute of Information and Communications (CICT), China Unicom, China Mobile and other units. the aim is to define and standardize distributed cloud global management capabilities in terms of general architecture and functional requirements.

According to reports, the release of ITU-T Y.3538 international standard is an important standardization achievement in the field of distributed cloud. Through the coordination of international and domestic standards, China's leading role in distributed cloud standardization is further enhanced.

CTOnews.com learned that the "distributed Cloud Global Management Framework" standard standardizes management requirements in the aspects of resources, data, platform services, application services, operation and maintenance management, and security.

Resource management includes distributed basic resource management capabilities such as computing (virtual machines, containers, etc.), storage, network, etc.

Data management includes distributed data management capabilities such as data processing, transmission, encryption, storage and so on.

Platform service management includes platform layer management capabilities such as platform services, interfaces, functions, etc.

Application management includes application layer management capabilities such as user-oriented business applications.

Operation and maintenance management includes distributed operation and maintenance management capabilities such as resource scheduling, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.

Security management includes distributed cloud security risk management capabilities.
