Microsoft merged the Surface Pro X with the Surface Pro mainline, and the Surface Pro 9 was the first product, with a starting price of 7788 yuan. The reservation has been accepted in China and the goods will be shipped on October 25th.

The appearance of the Surface Pro 9 is basically the same as that of the previous generation, but the details have been adjusted. The same aluminum fuselage weighs 878g, the two USB-C interfaces that support Lightning 4 are moved to the side, the volume and power keys are changed to the top, while the bracket supports a maximum angle of 165o, and the Surface Connect interface is still on the right.

In addition to the classic bright platinum and graphite ash, Surface Pro 9 adds sapphire (blue) or forest green (green) to choose from.

In addition to the new color scheme, Microsoft partnered with global design company Liberty to launch a limited edition Surface Pro 9 with a unique laser etching pattern and a bright blue floral design (inspired by Windows 11 Bloom) to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Surface Pro. It is accompanied by a Type Cover with a floral blue print.

CTOnews.com learned that Surface Pro 9 has a choice of Intel 12th-generation Core processors (i5-1235U and i7-1255U) and Microsoft SQ3 chips, and is equipped with a 5G network card for the first time.

The Surface Pro 9 is equipped with a 13-inch 3:2 PixelSense screen on the front, with a 2880 × 1920 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, support for sRGB and Vivid color display modes, and a contrast of 1200 120Hz 1, as well as adaptive color and automatic color management functions.

Microsoft Surface Pro 9 Intel versions are certified by Intel Evo, and officials say their performance is 50% better than that of the previous generation.

The 5G version of Surface Pro 9 comes with a Microsoft SQ 3 processor (based on Snapdragon 8cx III) that works with Qualcomm Snapdragon, and a new neural processing unit that officials say can provide up to 19 hours of battery life.

In addition, there are differences in memory and storage configuration. The Intel version of Surface Pro 9 is available with the highest 32GB LPDDR5 memory + 1TB storage, and the 5G version is the highest 16GB LPDDR4x memory + 512GB storage.
