Samsung India revealed that it has partnered with Indian network operators (Airtel, Jio and Vi) to test it and will release the required OTA updates in mid-November 2022.

A Samsung spokesman said: "Samsung has taken the lead in developing 5G technology since 2009 and has played a leading role in global 5G technology standardization. In India, Samsung has the broadest lineup of 5G devices. We are working with operator partners to launch OTA updates on all 5G devices by mid-November 2022, so that Indian consumers can experience 5G seamlessly."

CTOnews.com has reported that Airtel has launched 5G services in some areas of eight Indian cities, while Reliance Jio has opened 5G networks in four cities.
