With the start of a new flagship iteration, Qualcomm SM8550 (temporarily known as Snapdragon 8 Gen2) and MediaTek's new platform are already in the final moments before release, but we haven't seen detailed information about MediaTek's new flagship platform yet.

Digital blogger @ digital chat station revealed today that Tianji 9 series iterative platform is called "DX2" in the industry, the official name can not be confirmed.

From what he knows about the supply chain, the new machines already under development include two Vivo X series, one OPPO Find X series and one e-sports game brand. Considering that Xiaomi has launched an enhanced version of Redmi K40 game equipped with MediaTek flagship platform, it is not ruled out that it is a Redmi game phone.

The blogger also previously revealed that the delivery time of Tianji 9000 iteration chip is much earlier than Tianji 9000, and the first terminal product equipped with Tianji 9000 iteration chip will be released at the end of the year.

In terms of performance, at present, the engineering machine equipped with Tianji DX2 chip runs a small victory over Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Considering that many models equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will also be released at the end of the year, this time Qualcomm and MediaTek can be described as "flagship core confrontation at the shipping gate."

CTOnews.com previously reported that the blogger had also said that next year Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 may have an UHF version of "factory ashes," and GPU size will be increased on the basis of this year. The Tianji 9 series iteration chip continues to pile up CPU. The blogger also said that since Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip itself adopts TSMC 4nm process technology, the flagship chip will not be updated for half a year like this year. In the second half of next year, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip is only the overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

According to the information, the first batch of mobile phones equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 are scheduled to be released after Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit. At present, it is tentatively scheduled for the second half of November, and the progress of the first manufacturer is normal. Xiaomi 13 series, Redmi K60 series, vivo X90 series, etc. will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
