CTOnews.com October 12 news, according to the Taiwan media Central News Agency, panel manufacturer Youda Optoelectronics yesterday released the latest financial data. In September 2022, Youda's revenue was 16.28 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 3.679 billion yuan), an increase of 1.6% from the previous month and a decrease of 50.7% from a year earlier.

CTOnews.com learned that Youda pointed out that consolidated revenue in the third quarter was NT $49.73 billion (about 11.239 billion yuan), down 20.9% from the previous month and 49.8% from a year earlier.

According to Youda statistics, the total shipping area of panels in September reached 1.243 million square meters, a decrease of 6.7% from the previous month. In the third quarter, the total shipping area of panels reached 3.876 million square meters, a decrease of 21.2% from the previous quarter and 39.9% from the same period last year.

For comparison, Youda's consolidated revenue in August was 16.02 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 3.604 billion yuan), down 8.1% from July and 51% from a year earlier, the lowest in nearly 31 months.

In addition, the TrendForce Jibang consultation report shows that under the strict control of the farming rate and the strengthening of demand, the price of TV panels has stopped falling in October, and the demand for 32-inch panels is expected to rise. However, laptops and LCD panels continued to decline.
