CTOnews.com, October 11 (Xinhua)-- according to a report by investment banking giant Piper Sandler on American teenagers, nearly 1/3 of American teenagers own an Apple Apple Watch.

The latest biannual Taking Stock With Teens report shows that 31 per cent of American teenagers currently own an Apple Watch, while another 16 per cent plan to buy one.

In addition, 87% of American teenagers who own iPhone,88% want to buy another iPhone as their next mobile phone.

CTOnews.com learned that last month Apple launched the Apple Watch SE 2 watch, which has the same processor as the Apple Watch Series 8 and includes new car accident detection and emergency SOS functions. The GPS model costs $249 and the honeycomb model costs $299, which could become a popular watch bought by American parents for their children.

The new Apple Watch SE retains the previous case design, but redesigns the back of the nylon composite to make it lighter. In addition, the watch also adds a family sharing setting, so that family members without iPhone can also experience the functions on Apple Watch.
