01 procedure for downloading template 👉:

❶ create a new Excel workbook, enter "course schedule" in the search template dialog box, and click "search".

❷ select the "course schedule" template in the jump template interface, and click "create".

This set of templates is roughly divided into two parts:

❶ course schedule display area: click the drop-down menu to select the course, and the corresponding picture will change synchronously.

❷ course schedule editing area: follow the instructions on the right to modify the course and pictures.

02 modify the template, you can see that the curriculum arrangement of Xiao Dai is not the same as the template, so you need to adjust the format to add or subtract the course and pictures.

❶ adjusts the format of course schedule

In rows 5, 7, and 11 of the template, insert a row of cells, respectively, and set the cell format to unfilled.

Revise the number of course sessions in column A, and add courses such as "independent reading", "recess", "lunch break" and so on.

Enter the corresponding course time in column B to adjust the font size and cell width to the appropriate size.

❷ adds or subtracts courses and icons

Click on any cell (not a picture) in the course drawing and we will find that the cells are defined with the same name as the course.

We can see the location of all defined names in the Formula tab-name Manager.

For example, the name of the C3 cell is defined as "first of the first week".

Click on the picture next to the course and we will find that each picture is also defined with the name corresponding to the course, which is the key to the interaction of picture and text!

Now that we know the production method, let's optimize our class schedule together.

According to the course schedule, we need to add "elective", "flag-raising ceremony" and "reading aloud" to the template, and delete the "physical education" course.

First of all, we delete "physical education" and add "elective" courses: change the "physical education" in C23 cell to "elective", delete the original picture in D23 cell, and insert a new picture.

After modifying the contents of the cell, we also need to redefine the cell name: click the "Formula" tab-"name Manager", and change the name of the D23 cell from "Sports" to "optional".

In the same way, we added courses "flag-raising ceremony" and "reading aloud" in C27 and C28 cells.

Insert a picture in cells D27 and D28, select the cell (not a picture) and right-click, select "define name" to quickly define a name for the cell in which the picture is located.

Finally, we select the corresponding courses in the drop-down box in the curriculum display area, fill in the class, notes and other information, and a picture-text curriculum will be done!

The default paper direction of the Excel is vertical, while our class schedule is wide and needs to be displayed horizontally.

Click the Page layout tab and adjust the Paper orientation to Landscape.

❷ sets the print area

The Excel template consists of two parts, and we only need to print the course schedule display area, so we need to set the print location.

Select the area you want to print, and click the Page layout tab-print area-set print area.

When the setting is complete, the area is automatically named "Print_Area", and we can query and edit it in the name manager.

In addition, there is another way to set the print area, can friends guess?

Yes! That is the "pagination preview" function.

Click the View tab-Paging Preview to set the page view to paging preview mode

As you can see, there are many blue dotted and solid lines on the page, dividing the table into different pages.

These blue dotted and solid lines are what we often call "page breaks".

Hold down the right mouse button and drag the page break to adjust the print position of the page.

After setting up the print area and going back to the normal view, we will find that there are many gray dashed lines in the table, which is the display state of the page break in the normal view.

Click File-options at the top left, select Advanced in the pop-up Excel options dialog box, and uncheck Show Page breaks.

After setting up, we choose to print the first page and we are done!
