(hereinafter referred to as "Commercial Development") organized a kick-off meeting to accelerate the Yangtze River 1000A airworthiness certification work.

The meeting was attended by full-time model chief division, members of the company's leading group, chief assistant executives, all middle-level cadres, members of Changjiang 1000A product development team, Changjiang 1000A airworthiness forensics team, and airworthiness forensics business support staff.

According to reports, the meeting made overall arrangements and comprehensive mobilization for the airworthiness forensics work of the Yangtze River 1000A project, defined the objectives, tasks, and working ideas of airworthiness forensics, and planned the development arrangements for airworthiness forensics for follow-up projects. At the same time, it defines the organizational structure of the airworthiness forensics team and the project operation mechanism, and also puts forward specific requirements for the organizational guarantee of airworthiness forensics.

CTOnews.com learned that after the Changjiang 1000A forensics, the domestic large aircraft C919 is expected to be replaced with the domestic engine. On September 29, the Civil Aviation Administration of China officially issued the C919 aircraft model certificate to the Commercial aircraft Corporation of China. According to the current plan, the first aircraft will also be delivered to the first operator, China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd., before the end of the year. China Eastern Airlines is likely to put the new aircraft into operation for the first time in the first quarter of 2023.

According to the official website of China Aviation developer, Changjiang 1000A is a two-shaft turbofan engine with large culvert ratio, which is composed of 1-stage fan, 3-stage supercharging stage, 10-stage high-pressure compressor, single annular combustion chamber, 2-stage high-pressure turbine and 7-stage low-pressure turbine. It adopts advanced technologies such as full three-dimensional aerodynamic design, lean oil premixed combustion, active clearance control and so on. And wide-string hollow fan blades, integral blades, new generation single crystal, powder metallurgy and other advanced material technology, with high efficiency, low fuel consumption, low emission, low noise, high reliability, long service life, low maintenance cost, good maintainability and other product characteristics.
