CTOnews.com learned that the authorization code is a special password introduced by QQ Mail to log in to the third-party client, which is suitable for logging in to the POP3 / IMAP / SMTP / Exchange / CardDAV / CalDAV service.

How do I get the authorization code? First go to the Settings > General page to find the entrance and follow the process below.

(1) Click "start Service"

(2) Authentication

Use the WeChat account bound to the current email account to scan the code to verify your identity.

(3) obtain authorization code

Generate a 16-bit authorization code and note the authorization code for later management of the authorization code

How to set it in the third-party client? When logging in, enter the 16-digit authorization code in the password box of the third-party client to verify.

Manage my authorization code (1) web-side management

Click on the upper right corner of the page to enter account > self-help query > device Management

After clicking "invalidate", third-party clients logged in with the authorization code will not be able to send and receive email from the account.

(2) Mobile terminal management

Click Settings > account > Security Management > device Management to manage the authorization code.
