CTOnews.com, Oct. 11, Xbox Cloud Games is a service in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate that allows users to play dozens of Xbox host games through browsers or mobile devices. There is now a feature that allows users to access Xbox cloud games directly from Bing search queries, as long as they are running Microsoft Edge. This is an extension of the functionality already available on Edge for iOS, as Apple's anti-competitive practices block native Xbox Game Pass applications.

Some sharp-eyed Xbox fans noticed today that Xbox cloud games can now be launched directly from Bing itself. This has been available on iOS devices using Microsoft Edge for some time because Apple's anti-competitive practices prevent Xbox Game Pass from being launched natively in App, but now the feature seems to be being introduced more widely.

If users use the Bing search Xbox Game Pass Ultimate game, Microsoft will place it directly at the top of the Bing search query and give the outbound play button to quickly log in and jump to the game. It is worth noting that in testing, this seems to work only on Microsoft Edge. When trying in a Chrome browser, the game box cannot be popped up, but there may be different experiences depending on the location.

If users don't have a good experience of using Xbox cloud games on Android apps, it may be worth trying Microsoft Edge for PC. CTOnews.com learned that the Edge version of the cloud game actually uses different rendering engines, which may reduce the impact of network interference in some cases.
