The operation of public charging infrastructure in provinces, autonomous regions and cities, the construction of public charging piles in TOP10 areas of Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Beijing, Hubei, Shandong, Anhui, Henan and Fujian accounted for 71.5%. The national charging power is mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Hebei, Sichuan, Shanghai, Shaanxi, Hunan, Hubei and other provinces, and the electricity flow is mainly bus and passenger cars. According to the overall operation of charging infrastructure, from January to September in 2022, the increment of charging infrastructure was 1.871 million, of which the increment of public charging piles increased by 106.3 percent over the same period last year, and the increment of private charging piles built with cars continued to rise, up 352.6 percent from the same period last year. As of September 2022, the cumulative number of charging infrastructure in the country was 4.488 million, an increase of 101.9 percent over the same period last year.

Comparing charging infrastructure with electric vehicles, from January to September 2022, the increase in charging infrastructure was 1.871 million units, sales of new energy vehicles were 4.567 million, and charging infrastructure and new energy vehicles continued to grow explosively.
