CTOnews.com, October 11 (Xinhua)-- Google launched its latest Fitbit Versa 4 smartwatch in September and opened pre-orders for Fitbit Inspire 3. However, a large number of users reported that there were technical problems with Fitbit Versa 2 and thought they had been ignored. Currently, the Fitbit team has not resolved this issue.

Fitbit Versa 2 update 35.72.1.23 causes the device to stop working completely. Some users even reported problems with the device's key functions such as sleep tracking and heart rate. The update disappointed many consumers, and the Versa 2 device was paralyzed and bricked.

CTOnews.com has learned that in some cases, the touchscreen does not work, so users cannot swipe across the screen to perform tasks. Although most of the complaints are lodged with Fitbit support, their solution is to issue 35 per cent discount coupons for new Fitbit devices or to reset Fitbit devices from the factory. Of course, not all users are affected, and the update has been removed.

Google launched Fitbit sleep tracking earlier this year to analyze users' sleep patterns, behaviors and habits by introducing sleep profiles. This feature has been released for advanced users on several Fitbit devices, including Versa 2, although it does not seem to work in recent updates.
