According to TSMC's 2021 annual report, its main raw material suppliers are international manufacturers, most of them are Japanese enterprises, mainly related to wafers, process chemical raw materials, yellow light process materials, special gases, chemical and mechanical grinding materials, as well as well-known top semiconductor process equipment, automation equipment and parts suppliers such as ASML, applied materials.

In addition, TSMC also has essential patent designs that are as deep as the sea. As of May this year, TSMC had more than 75000 patent applications worldwide, with more than 52000 approved, ranking among the third largest patent applicants in the United States for two consecutive years. Quality ranks first among the top 10 patentees, and this does not include TSMC's most critical "business secret registration system".

CTOnews.com has reported that according to the latest report of TrendForce Jibang Consulting, TSMC continues to be the largest foundry in the world in the second quarter of this year, with a market share of 53.4%.
