SamMobile said Samsung's broadest portfolio of 5G smartphones for its customers in Brazil should help it maintain its leading position in the country's mobile phone industry in the emerging 5G era.

CTOnews.com learned that in September 2021, Brazil passed the final version of the decree on 5G, and in November 2021, the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency held an auction of operating licenses for the 5G band, and three Brazilian telecom operators won the bid. According to Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency, 5G network coverage in Brazil will reach 81% by 2030.
