CTOnews.com October 10 news, the power battery boss Ningde era today issued a forecast of results for the first three quarters of 2022, with an estimated net profit of 16.5 billion yuan to 18 billion yuan in the first three quarters, an increase of 112.87% and 132.22% over the same period last year. Of this total, the net profit in the third quarter was 8.8 billion yuan to 9.8 billion yuan, an increase of 169.33% over the same period last year.

The announcement said that the main reason for the increase in performance in the reporting period compared with the same period last year is that with the rapid development of the new energy industry at home and abroad, the market of power battery and energy storage industry continues to grow. The company continues to launch industry-leading product solutions, strengthen market development efforts, coupled with the early layout of production capacity release, a significant increase in production and sales, to promote the company's global market position to continue to lead at the same time, but also achieve the rapid growth of profit scale.

CTOnews.com learned that according to a report released by research institute SNE Research, in August this year, six of the top 10 electric vehicle battery manufacturers came from domestic manufacturers, namely, Ningde Times, BYD, China New Airlines, Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Xinwanda and Honeycomb Energy. Ningde Times is the largest supplier, with 18GWh installed in August and 7.9GWh in the same period last year, up 128.6% from 32.7% in the same period last year to 39.3%.
