CTOnews.com, Oct. 10, GM today released its China sales report for the third quarter of this year. In the third quarter, affected by the global chip shortage, GM sold about 630000 vehicles in the Chinese market, and its brand new energy products were also favored by consumers.

Among them, Wuling Hongguang MINI EV once again won the title of new energy vehicle sales in China. Buick Micro Blue 6 smart pure electric sedan and Chevrolet all-electric intercity sedan also continued strong growth momentum, with sales doubling compared with the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that the Cadillac brand sold more than 56000 vehicles in the third quarter, and deliveries of its first all-electric model, the Cadillac LYRIQ Reege luxury Pure Electric large SUV, began in September; Buick sold more than 185000; and Chevrolet sold more than 56000.

General Motors said that following Cadillac LYRIQ Reege, a number of new electric models based on the Altenon platform will be launched quickly, covering Cadillac, Buick and Chevrolet brands. Buick's first Autenon model will be officially unveiled this year.

In addition, the Wuling brand sold more than 321000 vehicles in total. It is said that Wuling Hongguang MINI EV family sales have exceeded 108000 vehicles, and officially launched the convertible version. Combined sales of Wuling Global Silver Standard models Star and Jiachen exceed 33000.
