CTOnews.com, Oct. 10, according to DSCC analyst Ross Young, Apple iPhone SE 4 will have a 6.1in LCD display with bangs "grooves" at the top of the display.

According to MacRumors, Ross Young said he had revised his expectations for iPhone SE 4. In October 2021, Ross Young said Apple plans to release a new iPhone SE model in 2024, with a 5.7to 6.1in LCD display and a punching design for the front camera.

Now, it seems that this message may suggest that Apple is exploring adding a smart island to the iPhone SE 4, a change that seems reasonable given that if the device is released in 2024, it will cover the entire iPhone 16 series and other models.

Ross Young's revised forecast says the iPhone SE 4 device will have a 6.1in display and bangs grooves. It is unclear whether the iPhone SE 4's grooves will contain TrueDepth camera arrays like other iPhone models to facilitate the use of Face ID. Some rumors suggest that iPhone SE 4 will not support Face ID, but will insist on using Touch ID like previous models to reduce costs.

When Apple moves to full screen design, the bottom frame of the device will no longer have room for capacitive Touch ID physical buttons. Several reports show that Apple is planning to use the Touch ID side button on the iPhone SE 4, just like the iPad Air and iPad mini.

The notch size of the iPhone SE 4 is not clear, but if it does not include components such as the TrueDepth camera array for the Face ID, it appears to be narrower than the notch on the iPhone XR because the new device will have Touch ID functionality.

Jon Prosser, the whistleblower, thought that iPhone SE 4 would move to a design similar to iPhone XR, which would involve the cancellation of Home physical keys. This change is likely, because so far, Apple's iPhone "SE" products have been designed with older devices.

CTOnews.com has learned that the iPhone XR uses a 6.1inch LCD display, and Guo Mingyi has said Apple is working on a new iPhone SE with this display size.
