According to CTOnews.com, October 9, Ubisoft announced the establishment of its Global Creative Office (Global Creative Office) on October 6 to better reflect and support its portfolio strategy.

With this evolution, Ubisoft aims to further support creative teams by promoting decision-making and strengthening studio responsibility and autonomy throughout the creative process. The overall goal is to improve creativity and ensure the highest level of quality in the execution and delivery of Ubisoft games.

Ubisoft said the new creative office would be built around the poles and away from a centralized organisation to better support key parts of Ubisoft's portfolio strategy. Based on the group's vision, each pole will use its expertise to deeply study the particularities of its audience, game design and technology.

CTOnews.com learned that Ubisoft also announced that its chief creative officer, Igor Manceau, would leave at the end of November for personal reasons. In the meantime, Igor will continue to refine its structure, working closely with Marie-Sophie de Waubert, Senior Vice President of Studio, Martin Schelling, Senior Vice President of production, Sandrine Caloiaro, Chief portfolio Officer, and Guillemette Picard, Senior Vice President of production Technology and Managing Director of Studio. After the departure of Igor, Marie-Sophie will temporarily take over the creative office to ensure a smooth transition between the team and the project.
